Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 September 2026

The short version. MailMop is a free client-side tool operated by Quickin Limited. It runs in your browser, asks Google only for Gmail metadata and your email address, and never sends that data to our servers. By using MailMop you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Who we are

MailMop is operated by Quickin Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact: support@mailmop.ing.

What MailMop is

MailMop helps you review unique contacts from the CC fields of your own Gmail threads. After you connect with Google, your browser requests message headers from the Gmail API, builds a de-duplicated list on your device, and lets you export or clear that list. MailMop has no backend server and no account database of its own.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales, and you must use MailMop only with a Google account you are allowed to connect. You are responsible for complying with Google’s terms and any workplace policies that apply to that account.

Your Google permissions

When you choose Connect Gmail, Google will show a consent screen for the scopes MailMop requests. Today those are:

You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking stops future access; it does not by itself clear data already stored in your browser — use MailMop’s delete control or clear site data for that.

Acceptable use

You agree to use MailMop only for lawful purposes on your own mail (or mail you are authorised to process). You must not:

No professional advice

MailMop is a productivity tool. Contact lists and flags it shows are generated from headers available to your account; they are not legal, compliance, or security advice. You remain responsible for how you use exported data.

Availability and changes

We provide MailMop on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn. We may update these terms by changing this page and the date above. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using MailMop and revoke Google access.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quickin Limited disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that MailMop will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that contact lists will be complete or accurate for every mailbox.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to that, Quickin Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages, or for lost profits or business opportunity, arising from your use of MailMop — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise — even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to MailMop is limited to £50 (or the amount you paid us for MailMop in the 12 months before the claim, if higher). MailMop is currently offered without a paid fee.

Privacy

How MailMop handles data is described in the Privacy Policy. That policy forms part of these terms. In short: Gmail metadata is processed in your browser and stored on your device; it is not transmitted to Quickin Limited’s servers.

Third-party services

MailMop depends on Google sign-in and the Gmail API. Google’s terms and privacy notices apply to those services. Static hosting and any analytics on the marketing site are separate from Gmail data and do not receive your Gmail metadata.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring mandatory consumer claims in your local courts where the law requires.
